Eligibility requirement
Here's what you will need to be eligible:
- Be a registered Canadian business
- Be a for-profit, privately owned business
- Have at least 1 full time employee
- Generate $10,000,000 or less in annual revenue
The CSBFP is a government initiative designed to help small businesses in Canada access financing. By sharing the risk with lenders, the program encourages financial institutions to extend loans to small businesses that might otherwise struggle to secure funding. This support enables businesses to invest in equipment, real estate, and improvements, fostering growth and stability in the Canadian economy.
