The B.C. Employer Training Grant is a funding program designed to support BC businesses by subsidizing the costs of training for their employees and new hires. The goal is to enhance the skills of the workforce, helping both employers and employees adapt to evolving labor market demands.

Eligibility requirement
Here's what you will need to be eligible:
- Employers must be operating within BC
- And must have been fully operational for at least one year
- And must be in good standing with the Province of BC
- Trainees must be Canadian citizens, permanent residents, or protected persons
- And cannot be majority shareholders of the applicant company or immediately related to the company owners
The B.C. Employer Training Grant provides up to $300,000 annually to businesses for training their employees, covering 80% of costs up to $10,000 per person. The program aims to enhance workforce skills, improve job security, and help businesses stay competitive.
